The Capital Area Transportation Coalition (CATC) is a non-profit, highly-focused, privately funded organization dedicated to one purpose: reducing congestion and improving mobility in Austin and the Central Texas region. Our membership is composed of leading business and civic leaders, including the area’s major employers and business organizations.

The Capital Area Transportation Coalition addresses this problem by:
Despite the ebb and flow of local political support for mobility projects, CATC remains a constant catalyst and advocate, whose existence provides evidence to State and Federal Officials that the business community is committed to mobility solutions. We have raised awareness about relative priorities of transit and roads, the need for additional State and local funding, and the importance of intermodal freight movement in an effort to achieve the most practical, multi-modal, and cost-effective transportation network.
Our economy is reliant on an effective regional mobility system to attract and service your employees, customers, and clients - let them know your company is part of the solution to our transportation problems.
