The Capital Area Transportation Coalition (CATC) is an organization of business and community leaders who seek to identify and implement mobility solutions for Austin and the Central Texas region.
Vision: Adequate, affordable, and effective transportation systems to achieve and sustain economic prosperity and individual quality of life in the rapidly growing Capital Area.
Mission: CATC exists to identify regional transportation system requirements and serve as an independent catalyst for action to meet those needs.
As announced previously, the CATC Board met Jun 18, and after discussing the various options and possibilities, voted to dissolve the organization, effective June 30th.
On Monday, June 8 the CAMPO Board approved $1.4 million for the Highway Emergency Response Operator (HERO) roadside assistance program. using AARA funds.
CATC is a privately funded non-profit 501(c)(6) corporation.
